Why is it important to classify waste and what is the purpose of it? As a country, we have a policy in place that seeks to reduce, reuse, recycle and recover energy. In order to fulfill this requirement, it’s important that there be a distinct separation of waste at the source. This will save a lot of time and resources at the recycling end.
